Pedalpalooza: Pedals and Wrenches from Sunup to Sundown on the Longest Day of the Year
June 21, 2019 from 5:32 am to 8:33 pm
At Neighborhood Bike Works, we teach youth about time management and persistence. We are putting our own skills to the test by hosting a sunup to sunset celebration of wrenching and pedaling on the longest day of the year!
For fifteen hours, we will have tag teams of our supporters on repair stands preparing bikes for our programs and pedaling to raise money for our earn-a-bike classes. To keep them company, we are hosting community events throughout the day.
Pedaling 750 Miles
At Bike Works, we love the goal of building 750 miles of Circuit trails. So, we set ourselves the goal of riding 750 miles for Pedalpalooza! And one of our supporters, David Engel, has pledged to ride 200 of those miles by pedaling from 5:32 AM to 8:33 PM.
Make a donation to Team David to support Bike Works’ goal to have 50% more youth earn a bike in 2019. Even better, your donation will be matched by an anonymous donor dollar for dollar (up to $5,000).
