Earn-A-Bike is our popular flagship program. Over the course of 8 weeks, youth refurbish a donated bicycle, learning the basics of bike repair and maintenance, safe urban riding, health, and nutrition. Through class participation and program completion, each student earns their bike as well as credit towards additional bikes, accessories, and replacement parts, redeemable during our Drop-In program - one of many free programs available to Earn-A-Bike graduates.
Earn-A-Bike is free to all participants. All costs are covered by Neighborhood Bike Works and partner organizations.
We are offering two Earn-A-Bike classes this winter.
Earn-A-Bike (Ages 8-18): January 5 - February 23. Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
Earn-A-Bike (Ages 8-18): February 28 - April 20. Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
