Bikes-in-Haddington, funded by the William Penn Foundation is a project of Neighborhood Bike Works, at 3916 Locust Walk in University City. The ultimate goal of the Bikes in Haddington is to establish a 3 permanent youth-run bicycle enterprise in Haddington.

Until that happens, Neighborhood Bike Works - a youth bicycle education organization, is committed to hosting approximately a once-per-month bicycle-related event in Haddington.

Recent examples of Bikes-in-Haddington (in Haddington) activities included a bicycle "Tour de Haddington" on October 28, and a winter bike tune-up on December 9.

Also.... starting January 16, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a new group of Haddington youngsters - ages 10-l4 - will begin bike repair and safety classes at Neighborhood Bike Works' University City location. Youngsters, in addition, to being between 10 and 14, must live within certain geographic boundaries. There are openings so please call Gregory King, Bikcs-in-Haddington Project Coordinator at 215-476-6576 for more information.
