Interested in joining our Board of Directors?

NBW is always seeking new members to join our Board of Directors and help support and steer our work. Board members support our mission, ask thoughtful questions, look for strategic partnerships, program ideas, and growth opportunities. We look to our Board to connect us to community anchors, build our relationships, deepen our reach, and keep a critical eye on our finances.

We strive to have a Board that represent diverse perspectives and identities. Board members of all ages, races, genders, cultural and economic backgrounds are encouraged to join us. We especially encourage individuals that reflect our West Philadelphia community and those with marginalized identities. By joining the Board of Directors, members commit to bi-monthly Board meetings and will be encouraged to join a Board Committee - Finance, Development, Governance, Executive or an ad-hoc Committee.

If you are interested in playing a vital leadership role or if you know of someone who you think would be a great Board member, please be in touch: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., Executive Director or 215-386-0316 x 118
