Thank-you  letters

(To BCP member Bill Ford, who picks up donations for us regularly)
                                                  August 18th, 2000
Dear   Mr  Ford ,

Everyone here at Neighborhood Bike Works would like to thank you for donating bikes,  and   bringing  donations from other people. You have inspired us to want to learn about bikes and how to fix them.

One thing I like about the program is working on bikes so I can show other people what I have  learned from Neighborhood Bike Works. In  closing, I would like to again thank you and keep up the good work.
                                                                                              Sincerely,
                                                                                                  Curtis Scarbrough.

(To Jason Konopacki of Kryptonite Corporation)

Dear Jason,                              April 4, 2000

Thank you for the Kryptonite locks. We can use them to keep our bikes from getting stolen. We can earn our lock from N.B.W. by going to class. They keep your  bike safer then the other locks do.

Dear Sgt. Washington and The Penn Bike Police,

My name is Chris Scarbrough and I am a part of Neighborhood Bike Works (NBW).    I and my fellow bikers would like you and your fellow bikers to know that we do care about the profesional protection  and caring hearts that you have.    Thank you for doing stuff like giving donations, bringing in abandoned bikes, helping us move, and helping us on rides.

Thank You from everyone at NBW.

                            Your  friend,  Chris.

Dear Mr Jeff Harris,

We all at NBW thank you for all the Fuji bike frames and wheels you donated.  The wheels and frames we already use. The good thing is they made a good bike.  So I hope you donate again.

(to US Marines who delivered a donation of bikes)

April 04, 2000

Dear Sgt. Mike Lowry and LCPL Steve Scola,

Thank you for sending the bikes to the NBW
[NeighborhoodWorks] and us kids so we can earn them.
Each bike will be earned by working for 20 hours [2 hours a day].
Thank you for sending those bikes to NBW [Neighborhood Bike Works].

  Sincerely,

Kevin Donnell Talbert Jr.                                NBW  Student

Dear Ms Chesten,

Thank you for the donation for two Schwinn bikes earned by Tyresse Warring and Ryan Powell for 25 attendance credit hours each.

When we took a Mural Arts ride some kids liked it and would have liked to finish the ride, but we finished early ëcause some people were tired.

Tyrone Roberts.
